Sheri Bauer choose the linens carefully - these are really hard to make the bed.

Profile picture of Christina Brown

Christina Brown I agree with Sheri. Just changed sheets on the top bunk is a workout!

Profile picture of Shannon

Shannon i don't put top sheets on the beds. just a fitted sheet and comforter in a duvet cover. we stand on the top step and "fluff/toss" the comforter, then use a step stool to straighten and tuck in on the outside. actually easier than i expected! thanks!

For the first day of spring: 1. Buy some "magic" Jelly Beans 2. Plant them in your yard- this only works the night before (wink wink) 3. The next morning go out and see what grew (large Lollipops!) follow link to pics

Trace the hand in pencil. With a marker, draw a straight line until you get to the hand. Then make a curve from one line to the next, then continue the straight line.

Put salt in a ziploc baggie along with a piece of colored chalk. Roll around until all salt is colored. Use colored salt in art projects for kids.

So fun! Cupcakes for two - could make up little mixes of the dry ingredients to have on hand... 1 egg white, 2 tablespoons sugar, 2 tablespoons melted butter, 1 teaspoon vanilla, 1/4 cup flour 1/4 heaped teaspoon baking powder, pinch of salt, 1 1/2 tablespoons milk Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Line a muffin pan with 2 liners.

DIY: I think kids would like making popsicle stick bracelets: boil in water for 15 minutes then place in cup to dry. Decorate with markers, buttons, glitter, or decoupage. Some could be given as gifts to BFFs.
