Re-reading The Well-Trained Mind now that I'm in my third year of homeschooling, and getting so much out of it! Thinking this is definitely one to re-read every few years!

This book is incredibly beautiful. That's a strange description for a book that centers around the life of a slave, but the writing and imagery is powerful, poignant and beautiful. LOVED it!

The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks // I'm not sure yet whether or not I *like* this book, but it's definitely a fascinating story!

This is a life-changing book. Emily speaks to my heart in page after page of Grace for the Good Girl!

This was a beautiful story of family legacies and accepting children with special needs for who they are. Loved it! (Still FREE for the Kindle!)

I loved this historical fiction...societal expectations are SO interesting to me, and I'm always thankful I wasn't born into high society, LOL! (Currently FREE on Amazon!)

Jeni Allen I just finished this the other day, and really enjoyed it!
Mandi {Life...Your Way} I thought it was really good too, Jeni. I don't typically buy the rest of the series after reading a free Kindle book, although I have a few times, but I'm definitely thinking about the next one in this series!
This is a great story of perseverance, friendship and faith. A little confusing to keep track of all of the characters at first, but worth the effort! (Still FREE for the Kindle as of 8/11!)

Lori Asperschlager Great! I love getting free Kindle books!
I had no idea I would enjoy action/adventure, Indiana Jones-like stories so much, but I really enjoyed Elisha's Bones, right up until the very last page!

Mandi {Life...Your Way} That's how I picked it up too, Breanna! Love when I end up with a book I love!
