ok--- so this is exactly what mine would look like if I only have them paint the bottom... I just wish I could see a photo of painted wrought iron that doesn't look creepy.

not going for the medium wood etc... but trying to make my wrought iron work-- has anyone seen wrought iron banisters painted white?? -- and wondering if I could just paint the baseboards white at least like this one...
This is dark and still pretty... Maybe if I just paint my wood baseboard white?
