How to Grow Garlic

TOP TIP: Flower Pot Drain Hole Cover: Just lay a coffee filter in the bottom of the pot covering the hole before filling the pot. The soil will stay in the pot and the water will still drain out because that is what coffee filters are designed to do; let water through. They last for a long time, too; by the time they fall apart, the potting soil is well packed and the plant has roots that hold the soil together.

Amy Law I just got 6 tomato plants from Love Apple farms this weekend. I'm hardening them up to get them ready for their life outdoors. Little blasts of sunshine during the day, and keeping them under a clear-bin to mimic their greenhouse lifestyle they're used to for the other 20 hours of the day. I can't wait to plant them!

Lillitu Shahar Kunning I was just telling Rowan about you yesterday- he picked off a magnet from the fridge that you made that day you, me and Karen made crafts together in her apartment. It has a butt being flashed and the word ITCH below it. He kept shouting BUTT ITCH and stomping around the kitchen with it.

Millions of gallons of water are used in gardens and lawns each year —many of them wastefully. Here are some ways to cut back on the amount of water you use in the garden: Adjust your lawn mower to a higher setting. Longer grass retains water bette...
