Angie York We did this with our 2 year old this year and it worked GREAT!! Thanks for the idea!
Amy Phipps We tried this, this year and it was more of a mess…Maybe I did it wrong :( I had to wait for the egg to completely dry before removing it from the whisk. I tried taking the egg out right away and got the dye all over my hands and then it made the egg look scratched up. Great idea though, maybe my whisk was too tight?
Ostara was a mother goddess of Northern Europe who was honored as the bringer of the dawn and of the springtime. One of the myths of Ostara features the bunny. As the story goes, Ostara, was late bringing spring one year. As her energy swooped across the land, she came upon a little bird whose wings had been frozen in the snow. Filled with compassion for him since he could no longer fly, she turned him into a snow hare and gave him the gift of incredible speed, to flee from the hunters.

From parenthacks.com "A large muffin baking pan works really well for egg dyeing. I have two and was able to use one for dyeing and one for drying dyed eggs before putting them back in the carton. The 3 tablespoons of water fits well in a cup (err on the scant side; a couple overflowed when I dropped eggs in), and it's nice to be able to use all 12 dye tablets in a single container."
