i'm in love - and addicted to - 20X200. i'm on there everyday perusing. what i love most about art is how it is constantly changing in meaning as your perspective is never static.

this is Laundry, Bridgehampton by Bastienne Schmidt. the placement looks odd in this shot but it actually works when you stand back from it.
these are my two Thomas Prior photos. i've hung them beside my Jen Ramos from Made By Girl Love print in gold. This is just the beginning of this gallery wall. i've been so busy with christmas i haven't even had time to properly mat and frame them but i couldn't wait to hang them!
i own this one too. i love it because it's an ugly beach photo. generally they're all pretty and picturesque. i love how different from the expected it is.

this was my first purchase from 20x200. it's the scariest photograph i've ever seen. as i said before, the ocean terrifies me. the ocean inside a building is just too much!!!
this looks beautiful, calm, lonely and quiet. almost awkward. i love it.
this is very pretty yet ugly. almost haunting. i love it. it's almost sold oout in the $20 so I'll have to buy this soon. my "next purchase" pile is getting bigger

i hated this photo at first but after reading Jen Bekman's description about it in the newsletter i fell in love.
this makes me feel scared. the ocean terrifies me. and this is a dangerous looking ocean.
after reading the description of this picture i now feel sad looking at it. i love art that makes me feel uncomfortable or sad. it makes it more interesting. this photo can also be very calming to look at.

this is also my next purchase. it's pretty but interesting. it almost looks like a fake set. i thought (assumed) originally it was some kind of cgi picture. (i'm not an art savant in the least)
this one is my next purchase. He's my favorite photographer on 20X200. I already have two of his other photographs.
i normally prefer photography over fine art but i keep being drawn to this one. i'm not even sure what it means but i like all the layers.
i'm a sucker for anything with elephants and for anything with a story. this has both!

i love this one because if you look close enough it's not so pretty. a lot like real life.
love this. yet another out of the price range. although i could probably ask for it for my birthday.....
this is my all-time favorite from 20x200! i wish i could afford this one.... one day??
