Ok wow. I added DNT+ (a Firefox addon that prevents websites from tracking you), only a few hours ago. It has since prevented FACEBOOK from tracking my moves on 59 other sites and my all time from all sites blocked is 424. That's...frightening.

Number 10 is reason enough for me: 10. Spreading Poverty. When Walmart comes into a community, incomes decline and poverty increases. According to a study published in Social Science Quarterly, neighborhoods that gain Walmart stores end up with more poverty and food-stamp usage than communities where the retailer does not open.
