Another CO joy, the main pool at Orient Land Trust. Old Hippies got money and bought a natural 98 F warm springs, which they are using the $ from to keep the springs and surrounding ranch pristine. There are 3 natural pools plus a manmade one and a hot tub, all fed with spring water. Lovely camping plus some bunkbeds in cabins and a hostel-like building with 4 rooms. Clothing optional and 4 hours from Denver!

Construction of the MAD designed Ordos Museum has recently been completed in fall 2011. Familiar yet distinct, the museum appears to have either landed in the desert from another world or to always have existed. From atop a dune- like urban plaza, the building is enriched with a convergence of naturalistic interiors, bathed in light. The result is a timeless architecture in a modern city of ruins.
