I love making fabric flowers! They are quick and easy and so addicting. I am also kind of addicted to The House of Smiths...she's got a great style! I never thought of using the fabric flowers to embellish items not of a wearable nature...cuteness!

I used my trusty hot glue gun to adhere the moss in several layers. There is no right or wrong way. I just tried to keep the fullness of the moss even all the way around the base. You can choose to keep it looking a little "messy" like I did, or trim the edges all the way around. I love that the moss has a bit of an Oscar the Grouch look, and I love the lime green color-so fresh and ready for spring!

Yes! Buy an old painting. Put letter stickers on it. Paint over the whole thing. Peel off stickers. I can't wait to try this!
