Cheryl Williams-Watson Okay. with jeans they're a no brainer. They will look great. But with a skirt that hits right at or a little above the knee, with gray "tights" to match....that's how I would do them in the winter. BUT, that's not everyone's style and if you don't feel like it's "You", then only wear them with pants. They're still cute with pants. But we have to go with what we feel comfortable wearing. I wouldn't feel like "me" if I wore something that I wouldn't normally wear. Plus, people who know me would do a double take if I wore something that wasn't "me" even if the outfit was adorable. :--)

Cheryl Williams-Watson Hmm @Lori McKee. This belting tip guide is helpful but it doesn't include the catagory "short waist with big hips"..... :--) So I guess I need to either wear a narrow belt or a belt the same color as the top...... That's good to know!

Cheryl Williams-Watson I like skirts like this too, just not red and white checked. I would feel like a table wearing a tablecloth. :--) I would wear this in solid black or dark brown or gray or navy....Yes, I'm very boring and conservative about what I will wear on the lower half of my body..... If I had a smaller bottom half, then it would be different....
