I've done this ... cool idea for escort cards for a wedding too.
Cover cookie sheet with fabric/ scrapbook papers or spray paint with black board paint and you have a magnetic board.
Amazing things you can do with old cabinet doors. I'd like to add one more ... make them into an escort card holder using chicken wire or rows of ribbon/twine or wire
