Alexis Ching Foie gras donut - yes! Also the nachos are okay. Brunch is not the best time to dine anywhere, but we got chicken & woffals and the fish & chips. Both were disappointing. Also had the Spherickle Back which sounded awesome in theory but execution not so much.
Bar Corvo, 791 Washington Ave btw Lincoln & St Johns....hop-skip-jump!

Alexis Ching Very pleasantly surprised by this spot - everything was delicious. Spicy fried chickpeas and citrus-dressed calamari to start, then chitara neri (squid ink pasta cut with guitar strings) with octopus confit and pork chop with collards and creamy polenta. New favorite spot, and only a 5 min walk from home!
Alexis Ching #2: Farro salad, cheese plate, semolina gnocchi with oxtail ragu, pork chop

Alexis Ching #3 with Ryan: pretzel dumps, oyster pad thai, whole market fish, halo halo
Alexis Ching #4 Brunch: Lobster Bao, Shiitake-Spinach Chang Fun, Sausage-egg-cheese fried rice
Pok Pok (PDX to LES) ...somewhere on Rivington where Baohaus used to be. GUDT! Should I tell him that "pok pok" in Tagalog means prostitute? Or...no?
