The Cincinnati Union Terminal was built in 1933 to serve 7 railroads. After the decline of train travel, it was rebuilt in 1980 and now houses the Cincinnati History Museum, the Museum of Natural History & Science, the Robert D. Lindner Family Omnimax Theater, the Cincinnati Historical Society Library, the Duke Energy Children's Museum, and the Cincinnati Railroad Club. It also allowed Amtrak to restore service to Union Terminal via the thrice-weekly Cardinal on 07/29/1991.
