Jessi Peterson I am torn between agreeing completely and thinking that this just plays into the image certain people (men) have of us. I'd like to some months, but some months I'm all "screw you, uterine lining - get out fast cuz I have crap to do and you can't hope to distract me".
Susan My body and I have an agreement. One day of fetal curling on the couch with a book, and the rest of the time I bribe it with dark chocolate until the endorphins make the pain go away, and get on with things.
