Waipi'o beach is accessible only by 4x4 (and foot!!) and is absolutely a hidden treasure! Worth the exceedingly steep windy road/path down to the beach. Pick up a hitchhiker, you'll do 'em a big favor. :o)
marvelous beaches. ♥ Especially if you're a native Californian and live in Washington, know what going to the beach ought to feel like. ;o) It's totally worth the walk. ♥

Pu'uhonua o Honaunau = Place of Refuge. Can't explain the incredible significance of this place... it was really remarkable. Especially since we went there just after I had read Joshua 20-- going on through 2Samuel 22.
Green Sand beach. It's totally worth the gripping adventure to get there! ♥
