This is a great idea, I was SO many green onions. Next time you buy them, save the white ends with the roots and put them in a clean glass of water. Place them in a sunny spot and they grow! Cut what you need and you'll have green onions indefinitely.

Heavenly Hash Browns. I made this last month..and YUM. I've always made the cream of chicken version...but this version uses chicken broth. I didn't have the south western style potatoes and used a white onion. I've done both versions now, and they are both SO good!
