my favorite bread recipe: 1.5c unbleached AP flour, 1.5c ww flour, 2 tsp instant yeast, 1 tsp salt, 1c warm water ¼ c EVOO Preheat the oven to 425 degrees. Shape the dough into a round boule by continually tucking the dough into the center of the bottom. Let the dough rise until the oven is preheated. Don't over knead the dough. Sprinkle with sea salt. Bake for 15 minutes and then turn the heat down to 350 degrees and bake 25 more minutes, until the bread is golden brown.

puffed pancake 1 Tablespoon butter 1/2 C Milk 1/2 C Flour 2 Eggs 1/2 tsp Vanilla dash of Salt dash of Cinnamon 1. Melt butter in pan in oven while it is preheating. 2. Whisk all ingredients together in bowl, pour into pan w/ melted butter and move to oven. 3. Bake at 425 degrees for 10 - 12 minutes or until the pancake has risen and is firm. Serve right away (it will start to puff down, that's ok) with fruit, syrup, powdered sugar... whatever you want! *we always double it
