"Elvis", a rescue fairy penguin, was fitted with blue shoes for his sore feet at the Antarctic Centre in Christchurch, NZ.
Tiny was being held for his family because they were homeless and the shelter has a program to help out families in need. However they never came back to get him. Tiny is 10+ years old and very sweet and affectionate. He is possibly house trained and just a wonderful little guy. We don't know much more about him then that. He was very matted when he came in, so the groomers had to shave him down to nothing, but he'll be super handsome when his fluffiness grows back! This dog will be euthanized if a foster home isn't found as the shelter he's at right now simply doesn't have room and resources. Are you willing to open your heart and home to these pets? If so, do the following: 1. Fill out a foster application on our site: www.animalrescueo.... This is an essential step to becoming a foster for A.R.R. When asked which dog you're interested in, select the default "Abby8yo" as these guys aren't yet on our website. 2. Contact Kelly, our Dog Division Head, at mailto:ARRColorad... to let her know you filled out an application for one of these dogs. We will arrange transport for these sweet guys and gals, so don't worry about getting them from their shelter to your home. We can handle it :) Note: Filling out a foster application is an essential step, but it doesn't guarantee that you, or A.R.R., will definitely end up with one or all of these animals. The animals are pulled on a first come first serve basis from the shelter by many caring, wonderful rescues who have opened their arms to them.
