What are pierogi? They are the Polish version of filled dumplings. For us, they are always smothered in butter, often fried, and served with finely chopped fried onions. The image is a scan of one of our real full size pierogi. Impressive, right?
Most prefer to begin with Roma tomatoes, as there are less seeds and a higher ratio of flesh, but you can use any type of tomato, including cherry varieties. Choose tomatoes of a uniform size so they dry at the same rate.

Chicken Pot Pie Bundles...Have to try these the next time I am playing with wonton and egg roll wrappers.
Chayote squash can be eaten both raw and cooked. As it lacks any definitive flavors, its textural qualities play center stage in its culinary uses. It is often shredded and added to salads, along with fresh and bright flavors such as cilantro, greens, other fruits and citrus. The fruit can be slow roasted, grilled, skin peeled and added to soups, stews and served as an accompaniment to main courses featuring meats such as roasted pork and poultry. Lots of recipes here!
I am not this radical in my diet...but for some great Vegan recipes this is the hot tip.
Chicken Chow Mein This dish makes use of a tender, juicy Asian cabbage called bok choi, which is simple to cook and really tasty. You should be able to find bok choi (also known as pak choi, Chinese white cabbage or hakusai) in your supermarket but if not, then a nice little gem lettuce or a handful or two of baby spinach would work well instead.

Preserved lemon or "pickled lemon" is commonly used in Moroccan, Indian and Middle Eastern Food. You can buy preserved lemons at specialty stores but they are easy to make and so much fresher when you preserve them yourself. The added bonus is they look pretty sitting on your counter.
