Buy a rough surfaced tile from Lowe's (less than a dollar) and mod podge pretty scrapbook paper on it. Then mod podge picture over that. Let dry and wrap with a pretty bow. Cute!

so much easier than knitting a whole scarf! "get a bunch of yarn, cut into strands at desired length. holding all strands together, sew back and forth at desired intervals with whatever color(s) of thread you have near your sewing machine." LOVE this idea. calendar journal: write down something you did each day. "first year is the least rewarding, but I imagine that in 10 years, it will be a daily treat to be reminded of what happened on that date.."

Balloons for each year of anniversary, with love notes/photos attached. Or a kid's birthday, for each year and one thing you love about them, or a memory from each year of their life. (I did this once with 150 balloons....Rent a helium tank!!) The possibilities are endless.
