Dawn + Vinegar = Soap Scum Killa. Use in the tub - spray on, leave for about 1/2 hr - wipe down like nothing was there. It will sparkle!

Smart- put a coffee filter over the drain hole to stop dirt from leaking out before putting the plant in. Why didn't I think of that.

The next time you have green onions, don't throw away the white ends. Simply submerge them in a glass of water and place them in a sunny window. Your onions will begin to grow almost immediately and can be harvested almost indefinitely. We just use kitchen scissors to cut what we need for meals. I periodically empty out the water, rinse the roots off and give them fresh water.

Baking Soda as Pan Scrubber Sprinkle soda on crusted casseroles and roasting pans and let sit for five minutes. Lightly scrub and rinse.

To get your drain running again (without resorting to chemicals worthy of a hazmat suit) pour ½ cup soda, then ½ cup vinegar, down a clogged drain. Cover it with a wet cloth, wait 5 minutes, uncover, and flush with steaming-hot water.
