Forget airbrushed size 00 models posing in their undies, Ultimo has picked a range of women to star in its latest advertising campaign.The lingerie giant has opted to use the kind of women who actually buy their collections – those aged 18-46 and from 00 up to a size 18 – as well as chosen to not airbrush their bodies. (Note that there WAS retouching to their faces: ie wrinkles/complexion, & basic lighting/contrast PS tools, but this is a wonderful step forward!!)
Um. Wow. >> This very popular "photograph" is almost all Photoshop. The girl's back, stomach, and most of her ribs were airbrushed out, arms and legs slimmed, legs lengthened by at least ten inches, hair added below the shoulders, etc. The retoucher completely REMOVED her navel and her left arm. She doesn't look like this in real life... this is not attainable by humans.
