I'm gathering ideas for a small office space/guest room. I have no idea what I want to do yet, but I'm going to figure it out!
Planning on doing something very similar, but putting in a file cabinet at the bottom and knocking out the walls surrounding the closet opening completely.

Idea: Rip out closet and replace it with a combo of built in drawers, bookshelves, maybe a cabinet.

I'm liking this style of desk - would prefer it in a farmhouse type wood finish - but I'm wondering if I'd spend my time smacking my knees or shins on that crossbar underneath.
Really simple design, goes with anything, and it's unfinished, so you can choose the stain or color.
A little fabric, a little modge podge. Ooh, there's an idea for sprucing up that awkward file cabinet we have that is too nice to get rid of but doesn't go with anything.
Ok, I'm gonna need that turquoise cabinet to jump off the internet and get in my room right about...NOW.

Oh, I like the ottoman, looks perfect for storing linens and blankets for a sofa bed. Being on wheels would make it easy to move around. Want it for my office/guest room! Beachy style, too.
