Wrap wire around foam cone to make tree. The Dollar Store has some great thick wire right now, or copper wire from Home Depot would work, nice and thick.

Use paper plates to make mini Christmas trees. WAY cheaper than the styro cones. So clever! also love the way she uses her candle stick holders to place the trees on.

DIY snowman- yarn wrapped foam balls, burlap ribbon for scarf and thin wire for hat/arms.

Illuminating Holiday Jars Wash and dry jars and layer the bottom with the greenery of your choice, and then add a handful or two of cranberries. Pour water into the jar, causing the cranberries to float to the top. Insert a floating candle.

Leaves dipped in wax to preserve colour-- Thanksgiving/Fall decor

waxed leaves... Make sure your leaves are completely dry. Melt some beeswax in a double-boiler. You can use new wax or old candle stubs (optional - add a few drops of cinnamon oil). When the wax is thoroughly melted, take the leaves by the stem and immerse them, one at a time, in the wax. Hold them over the pot to drip a bit, then lay them on waxed paper to dry.
