Naomi Willman I used this and google maps and had the students map a bunch of recent earthquakes. They compared this to a map of tectonic plates to help them figure out the relationship between plates and earthquakes. We did the same thing with volcanoes.
Marcia Krech Fabulous! I've use this too and it really works! Neat to watch kids catch on to the fact that earthquakes and volcanoes are not random occurences.
