Zero the Hero capes. I'm going to work with these for the 100th day of school. Maybe have students create a collage of 100 things? Paperclip to shirts or maybe punch holes and add yarn.

An idea for my mentor teacher when I am done student teaching!!! It is cute!

Pinner said: To display student work and simultaneously keep them in chronological order for a portfolio! I learned this from my amazing cooperating teacher back in student teaching and I think it's the best thing since sliced bread! What you do: Buy curtain hooks from bed bath and beyond. Take a file folder or decorative cardstock and staple one for each student onto a bulletin board. Make little name plates to place somewhere near the edge of the space then slide three curtain hooks on the cardstock spaced apart like a Three hole punch. Gently slide the student work onto the the three hooks and voila it's displayed! Add another work right on top as needed. At the end of the semester/grading period/year and you have the perfect portfolio to bind and go!

Recipe for success- first day of school activity. Cute Idea!

Every educator needs to remember this!
