Preserve a clean stove top by applying a thin layer of car wax, then wiping it off. Future spills will lift off easily. I think God just answered my cleaning woes via pintrest... wow.

Cleaning fruit - fill sink with water, add 1 C. vinegar, mix. Add all fruit and soak for 10 minutess. Water will be dirty and fruit will sparkle with no wax or dirty film.

Add a cup of baking soda to the toilet & let it soak for an hour then flush. It will clean the toilet & absorb the odor. Easy enough for me!

If you have grease to get rid of, just take tin foil and put it in a bowl. When grease hardens ball it up and throw it away! Much better than the method I had been using!

my husband did this! I never would have thought to... when your putting together one of those do-it-yourself bookshelves or desks - inventory the screws by pushing them into one of the styrofoam pieces! that way they aren't scattered wherever!
Take popsicle sticks and paint them the color of every wall in your house. Carry with you on the go to match furniture, curtains, decorations, etc. I've seen the full paint stirrer version of this but love this portable-sized idea!!
Picture hanging advice... just remember to hang pictures at eye level. If you have to tip your head up to see the whole picture, you've hung it to high!!
