Let me introduce you to the easiest salsa you've ever met. It literally comes together in under 5 minutes. Not only is it easy peasy to prepare but it's down right delicious. Unlike pico de gallo, it's more like a salsa you'd get in a Mexican restaurant served with chips before you get dinner. This

TIP FOR KEEPING BERRIES FROM GOING MOLDY ~ dump berries into a mixture of one part cider vinegar/ten parts water. Swirl around, drain, rinse if you want and pop in the fridge. The vinegar kills mold spores and other bacteria on the surface of the fruit. Raspberries and strawberries will last longer in the fridge without getting moldy and soft.

Amy Dobmeier Also from MN and agree that these are a potluck staple. I sometimes add another layer by wrapping the whole thing in a tortilla - especially if I want to make them the night before. The tortilla helps soak up some of the juices!
Solace Stanley my family does them with pickled asparagus - yum
Jenny Lucas Kosher Dills in Black Forest Ham.... never any left when I bring these to a gathering!
Kari Evenson we also use corned beef too....delish!!!!
Dea Jo Aldrich I add a pkg of ranch dressing mix and some dill to the cream cheese and use pastrami instead of ham. Yum!
