This is a favorite herb with a caveat! The good news is garlic chives are a late blooming herb in July and August. The bad news is if you don't want them to take over, you must cut the flowers as soon as they start to die back or you will have a million (a slight exaggeration) in a minute! I'll get digging most of them out this spring!

Everblooming climbing 'Cecile Brunner' is hardy, but it does have to come back from the ground each year. It does bloom from June until frost in PA. Beautiful little flowers. Great decoration for cakes or cupcakes!

Kaffir lime leaves used in Thai cooking. Has to be in a container in the Pittsburgh area. Watch out for the thorns on the trunk. The leaves are very fragrant. They are like a bay leaf. Don't eat them unless they are ground up very finely. Better to use them whole and then take them out at the end of cooking.
