Turner's "Norham Castle Sunrise." I bought the postcard at the Tate and kept it threaded in the wires above my bunk the whole time I was in London. I loved closing my eyes to this.

Cory Godbey. I like this one because it captures the hopeless moment, just before she's kissed alive. So many storybook paintings focus on the kissing part. Or the waking up part. I like this because this is the point where the characters trapped inside the story think all hope is lost. Only the reader knows better. Only the reader sees the full story. Here's to coming alive again.

Cory Godbey. Makes me want to write something beautiful. Makes me want to dream up a big adventure.

I love it when I'm no longer consciously aware of reading a story. I'm there. I'm in it. I see it.

Jen Jones That is so pretty. And what a cool name to have: Hadley Hutton.
