Robin Haley Iller or just be thankful for what you have :)
Nester Smith so true, I didn't even consider it as an actual item, but more of a dream like "I want to be debt free" or "I want to write a book" or "I want to live an adventuresome life" not like "I want a pink sofa"
Deedra Wilson I agree Nester!!!

Christie DeSilva Killer combo. It also is soft and bold, all at the same time. Soft & bold is one of my very favorite combos...or perhaps I should call it soothing/soft & bold.

Use up some old cotton Tshirts to create soft and stretchy braided headbands. Cheap, quick, and a no-sew project.

cut an old sweater sleeve and use as sock look-a-like without the bunchy-ness in your boot. SMART!

Jen Sparks Wouldn't it unravel?
Young Ladies Christian Fellowship I think you'd have to refinish the edge with yarn?
Carrie Tisthammer @Jen Sparks, I have done this... but I used the part she has at the bottom as the top... then the "unravel" really isn't a big deal since its in the boot... just make sure to cute it long enough so if it does unravel a bit, no biggie. Mine haven't though... just more of a fray.
Michelle S I do this all. the. time. Most sweaters are machine knit and they don't unravel - at least I haven't had one unravel yet and I must have a dozen pair of boot "socks".

Jennifer Creviston Because this pin... which lead me to your blog post.... our family sponsored a child! :) A teenage boy from Tanzania... his name is Kipimo :)
Emmy Talavera I was so touched and humbled by all your Tanzania posts so far but this definitely was a tear jerker. Thank you for sharing and for the reminder that we do often need that life and God are great!
Shannon Bieger So blessed and inspired by reading this.
Beverly Mannen Long I have read your blog for the last year and have loved you. I love you even more after this blog post!!! We went to Malawi for a month last year and I get so excited reading about others experiencing Africa. You will never be the same. Isn't it crazy how much they bless us when we go on these mission trips?
Nester Smith @Jennifer Creviston WOOO HOOOO!!

Kimba A Soft Place to Land Oh boy. That's the 2nd time today that my heart has been tweaked on this topic.
Madison Evers Some more interesting stats. According to the US Census Bureau, 35.9 million people live below the poverty line in America, including 12.9 million children.
Centsational Girl I LOVE that you are so passionate about this @Nester Smith - We have 2 adopted of our own, it's a minimal expense that changes lives xo
Christie DeSilva Arghy. That darned poverty line in this country drives me bonkers. Our family is 50% BELOW the federal poverty line. We're in diar poverty according to the federal government and it makes me sick. We have a happy, healthy, family, not a lot of money, and WAY MORE THAN ENOUGH. Compared to so many kids on so many other countries, our kids, our entire family is SUPER WEALTHY.
Cindy Broaddus His name is Aboko. He is 12. He lives in Uganda. He is our Compassion child. One less dinner out per month and you can sponsor a child, too! It takes so little to help them so much!
Yes, you will be enriched in every way so that you can always be generous. And when we take your gifts to those who need them, they will thank God… As a result of your ministry, they will give glory to God. For your generosity to them and to all believers will prove that you are obedient to the Good News of Christ. And they will pray for you with deep affection because of the overflowing grace God has given to you. Thank God for this gift too wonderful for words! – 2 Corinthians 9:11-15
