Art meets function in this clever little architectural salvage hanger which I am calling a whirlygig cause it spins around on its pedestal. It is made from repurposed spindles from an early chair that was irrepairable along with some old painted oak wood which has some great colors coming up and an old wooden inverted hanger.
Upcycle rusty old box springs into a garden trellis! Love it.
Build a Fence Trellis.Cut a 5- x 10-foot piece of rigid 1/4-inch wire mesh from a building supplier. Attach four wood blocks to the fence (one for each corner of mesh), screw a lag hook into each block, and fit the mesh over the hooks.
Start a seedling in a lemon peel, then plant the whole thing!
