Homa Related question: the book says it is an alphabet "song" but I've never heard the associated tune, do you know it?

Profile picture of Susan

Susan On a whim I looked it up on youtube. There are several versions. This one is pretty close to the one that I made up and use. http://www.tudou.com/progra...

Susan Hmmm...somehow it's not youtube, but it works (and IS in English)

Allison McDonald Isn't it cute? And such a great and complex lesson too.,

Homa At the end the girl has a striped bow in her hair and my daughter is CONVINCED she has some residual stripes, lol. But I think she gets the lesson, she loves lima beans and didn't understand why Camilla wouldn't eat them. :)

Santhi K Made my day when dd announced that Hermione and Emma Watson are those she admires even though she is a big fan of THG and has read the Twilight books (mummy is the big fan here ;))... yes being critical thinkers help them to weed out the chaff from the grains.

Profile picture of Kay Lane

Kay Lane I, too, am so proud of my son's ability to think for himself. AND he is one of the most faithful Christians I have ever known. Just as he understands fact from fiction, he understands right from wrong, as taught in the New Testament!

Becky Whitney @Melissa Taylor @imaginationsoup I'm with you, ladies. Critical thinking skills above all, but reading for pleasure is great, too. And @Becky Taylor, if you don't want your kids to admire fictional characters, why did you comment? You just picked a fight for no reason. Those of us who repinned this post obviously feel otherwise
