Red Ryn So what precisely is the problem that leads to this fact? Is it that women are not running for a position in Congress, or are they running but simply not being elected? Is it that the money it takes to run a campaign has not flowed into the coffers of women running for a Congressional seat? In the end I'd be bothered far less about there only being 17% of women in Congress if we knew for certain that 100% of those serving in Congress were there because the people the represent were given a fair choice and chose the best candidate, male or female.
