I love to hike and explore! A few places where I have explored. Unforgetable!
The National Monument to the Forefathers stands on the summit of Monument Hill, Plymouth Mass.. A dedication on the monument’s northeast face reads, “National Monument to the Forefathers. Erected by a grateful people in remembrance of their labors, sacrifices and sufferings for the cause of civil and religious liberty.”

Kinzua Bridge State Park...The remains of what was once one of the highest train viaducts in the world.
I rode on a train across this bridge only about 5 years before the tornado destroyed it. It is hard to believe this site. I spent quite a bit of time here at what is left of this Viaduct at Kinsua Bridge State Park.

.I know at at least one area of road just much like this, near the south end of the Allegheny Resevior. I forget the forest road number, maybe 122, not sure, but I think this view is on a logging off 122, first logging road on the right I think is logging road 321, which turns into 150 after crossing the river. It has been quite a few years since I was there. The main paved road is 321, I think 122 is about 8 miles North of Kane. I miss visiting the area.
This is Allegheny National Forest, the reservoir is mostly surrounded by forest, is about 20 mile long, and has camp site areas that boaters can use, by boat only! I have experienced this! If you like primitive camping and have a boat, you should try it!

Pemaquid Point Lighthouse...Maine

John Grabianowski My wife and I would always try to stay in the Pemaquid lighthouse area for at least a week while on the east coast. We would try to spend a few afternoons by the sea at this lighthouse area. When I look at the pictures I can relax and hear the waves roar.....
Fetching pins…
Debbie Dawidowicz My home!
John Grabianowski We would go camping in the forest years ago. I remember looking for a job in the area as I like it so much. But we ended up in Southeastern Ohio. The hills aren't quite as tall as Allegheny's, but we have plenty of them.
