Pocket Buddha But the time turner wasn't a spell that brought him back from the dead, it was a time paradox. He was never dead to begin with.
Natalie True, it wasn't a spell. But couldn't it have been used to alter more significant things in theory...?
Pocket Buddha In theory. But then the time paradox just gets more complicated. If Harry went back & saved his parents, he would have no reason to go back in time in the newly created future and therefore it would necessary have happened. Then what? In the book Dumbledoor explains that using the Time turner is heavily regulated... Ya know. Temporal prime directive or some such thing... I've now put entirely too much thought into this.
