I love this iconic picture of Yoko Ono and John Lennon on their wedding day. White knee socks, a sun hat and a mini skirt isn’t the most conventional bridal dress, but Yoko looks perfect just as she is.

Tom Cruise & Katie Holmes - reported cost of their wedding 2 million dollars
Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi have become lawfully wedded wives on August 16, 2008 at their Beverly Hills estate. Both wore Zac Posen and exchanged rings by Neil Lane.
Liza Minnelli and David Gest's festivities still claim a spot as one of the most expensive celebrity weddings of all time, with an estimated cost of $3.5 million. Nearly 1,500 guests turned out to witness Minnelli’s fourth marriage--where attendants included best man Michael Jackson and maid of honor Elizabeth Taylor--to celebrate at a reception that included a six-foot-high, 12-layer wedding cake. (No word on which of the almost-400 items they registered for at pricey retailer Tiffany’s wound up on the couple’s gift table.)
Michael Douglas and Catherine Zeta-Jones: Douglas and Zeta-Jones wed in a $1.5 million ceremony at the Plaza Hotel in New York City. Douglas, famed for his expensive divorce from first wife Diandra Douglas, is also newsworthy for hosting one of the priciest celebrity weddings on record. Like Brosnan, Douglas negotiated the rights to the wedding story and photos to OK! Magazine, so guests were forced to keep mum prior to the event. Zeta-Jones’ Welsh heritage was displayed proudly in the décor and the menu, as guests were treated to Welsh lamb. Douglas’ son Cameron from his first marriage was the best man, and attendees included stars like Sean Connery, Sharon Stone and Christopher Reeves.
Mariska Hargitay & Peter Hermann The couple walked under an arbor decorated with votive candles and hurricane lamps filled with dahlias, chocolate-colored cosmos and hydrangea. The newlyweds strolled hand-in-hand towards a pond edged in rose petals.
Jennifer Aniston and Brad Pitt It’s not so much Aniston’s beaded halter-neck dress (designed by Lawrence Steele) but radiant smile and signature glossy locks which catch the eye in the only picture of her wedding to Pitt in 2000.
Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban: The Oscar-winning actress and country music star wed in their hometown of Sydney, Australia in a ceremony that cost more than $250,000. Kidman wore a floor-length Balenciaga gown, and arrived at the cliff-top church in a limo with her father. There were 250 invitees in attendance, including fellow-Aussies like Hugh Jackman, Russell Crowe, and Naomi Watts. Throngs of fans lined the streets as guests were arriving at the ceremony, and while many details were kept private and out of the photographer’s reach, Kidman and Urban did leave a case of Victoria Bitter beer for the paparazzi
When Demi Moore and Ashton Kutcher got married, it caused quite the buzz due to the age difference. He was 27 and she was 42. Their's was a simple yet traditional Kabbalah wedding at their home in Beverly Hills. Her celebrity wedding dress was a simple and elegant Jeanne Lanvin floor length gown with jeweled shoulder straps
