I am trying to embrace this maxi trend, but I feel so Orthodox whenever I try it.
With black tank, black bolero cardigan. Super red shoes.

Do you have a pair of The Honey yet? Kocoa and I swear by them. That's two booties you can trust.

I have this dress in a different fabric, but you wouldn't believe the number of compliments/questions I get about it. You'd look so nice in this.

I just got this skirt and it's awesome. I should've sewn it myself but I've got no time for these things.

I get compliments EVERY TIME I wear these jeans. There will be no muffin top because of the higher rise.

Bee Kotun and pamie would know - she's in the dictionary
You want a dark wash, boot cut/flared leg. Nothing on the pockets. No tiny pockets. You might like something with a bit of stretch, but I prefer structure.
This might drape nicely on you. I also think Tilda should grab one.
I bet you'd look tough in this. But I'd try it on -- worried about the busty factor.
Cat print aside, you could pull off this whole look. (Hell, even the cat print.)

Jessica Lasher I think this might need to be Suzy's...
if you don't get these, i will. good under jeans and pretty with skirts. (get some nice ankle socks for them, too.)

Rachel House i like this. i can do this.
get this, because i want it and i am physically restraining myself from ordering it.

would you do this? with the shorts?

Rachel House nope, i dont wear shorts.
Pamela Ribon I completely agree. But in my head, if I could ever pull off shorts, I'd try these. I look horrible in all shorts but booty, and then only in skates.
do you like this kind of thing?

this too, omg look! find a cheaper cardigan, price-wise, and I don't really love the flower on the bag but I like these colors and I think that smocked top would look lovely on you. And those shoes are only $60!

I could never pull this off... but I actually think you could. Note the TALL shoes; i think they're important.
you can keep wearing comfy jeans if you pair them with a top like this (and bring a cardigan/wrap for inside).

grab a couple of these shrunken cardigans for pairing with skirts and dresses. They're going to make you look taller. Look for the bottom of a sweater to hit you where you're smallest, not your widest place.

super-flattering tank you can put under light sweaters or cardigans.

again, i can't stop wanting to put you in things like this, but you have such a good shape for them.

Rachel House buying this dress
Jessica Lasher She looked amazing in it!
You need a few wrap dresses. They are comfy and super-easy. You look like you care when the secret is: "It's only one piece of clothes!" They also will look fantastic on your figure.
