With a small cookie cutter you can turn a standard PB&J or ham and cheese into a panda bear. To make the face, cut a sandwich (with your kid's favorite filling) into a circle.

The true hamburgers in this bento are the meatball sandwiches on toothpicks. Make the mini burgers by halving meatballs and sandwiching with cheese, carrot and lettuce discs.

These cuddly cows are made of rice balls. To make, form freshly-cooked Japanese rice into balls (wet your hands with water to prevent sticking) -- make a dent in the middle and fill with anything your kids likes, like mashed black beans. Wrap the rice over the filling to completely cover.
