Carole McIntire In my Kindergarten class, I put a cotton ball in the palm of their hand. I tell them to "wrap" (place) their 3 fingers on their little friend to cover him up, leaving the thumb and pointer finger to grasp the pencil. Anytime someone is not holding their pencil correctly, I just say "put your little friend to bed". They know what to do, even if there is not cotton ball in their hand. :o)

PediaStaff on Pinterest We were doing a Pinterest demo at ASHA this week and I showed this idea. One of the speechies suggested you could turn it into a language activity putting speech sounds, phonemes, letters or words on each bag. You guys are all SO creative!!
