Great idea for mud room or laundry room organization. Hollowed out dresser and dollar store bins - use pretty ribbon & thumbtacks to hide ugly front edge (Darn! Why did I get rid of those ugly old dressers in the basement????!)

This work surface is a full 4' by 5', lots of space to spread out and made of Jetmax cubes that are raised up on plinth made from wooden and base board molding. The top is a piece of MDF trimmed with wooden beading and then painted white to match. The front side can be designed to hold books, magazines, cardstock, etc.
