I love this idea. Whoever thought of it is a genius. Use only 2-3 stocking hangers and a curtain rod so as your family grows you don't have to worry about finding hangers that match you old ones.

Store artificial tree in concrete form tubes! Do you like the convenience of an artificial tree but dislike storing it because it takes up so darn much space? Try this idea. Use two 8-in.- diameter concrete form tubes, wrap each layer of the tree in twine and store half the tree layers in one tube and half in the other. Mark the layer numbers on each tube and stow the tubes in your garage rafters. A perfect solution!
Clear Ornaments. This would be a great idea as a souvenir from places we have visited - clear ornament, sand, tiny shells - or moss and some tiny pinecones.

All Aboard The Minivan Express! Ready to start a Christmas tradition that the whole family will enjoy? I know you’ve all seen The Polar Express, well, this is our own version of that fun adventure! Each year we hide the “Golden Tickets” in our kids’ beds. My husband starts the bedtime routine as usual, while I prepare little bags of popcorn and hot chocolate drinks and place them in the car, oh and don’t forget to have Christmas music playing in the car too! When the kids go to climb into bed, they will find the ticket hidden under their covers, get ready for lots of giggles and screams as they all find their tickets! The kids are then instructed to grab their slippers and head for the car. Upon entrance to The Minivan Express, we hole punch the ticket (you know for effect and all.) Next, we travel around the city looking at all the beautiful lights. We may even stop somewhere for a fun snack on the way home. Now the kids look forward to this each year and look forward to getting “those special tickets”!

PomPom Garland: For each strand of pom-poms, double-knot the end of a 5½-foot length of monofilament fishing line. Use a darning needle to thread on one to three pom-poms at a time. Leave 2 to 3 inches of line between each cluster and make a single knot below each cluster to hold it in place. Leave the last 6 inches of the line bare. Tie each strand to a tension rod, trim any excess line, then use clear tape to secure the strands.
