Danielle: you would use "que" if you want to say love me for what I am and "qui" for love me for who I am

Aimer means either love or like is depends of the context. J'adore is like I adore you would use it if you like a song a movie, a friend...

Aimer is to like or to love. Adorer is to adore. So yes adored means to love but aimer is the more typical way of saying it. They use adorer more like: j'adore faire mes devoirs. (I love to do my homework) which I don't but it's just an example haha. Or a better more realistic example. Français est ma classe favori! Je l'adore!

I'm french. Aimer is ''to love'' or ''to like'' I would say that ''Adorer'' is to love with a passion... Not sure if i'm clear enough here! lol To use the sentence use by Stephanie, I'd say '' J'adore faire mes devoir'' would mean '' I really really really love doing homework!''
