Just moved into my ex's old apt. and the burners were covered with aluminum foil one caught on fire so I took the foil off found ones that look worse than her before ty for the tip

Make sure to leave sealed in the bags for at least 12 hours. It's worth the wait!

I have a gas stove that is self cleaning. I put everything that comes off the top into the oven when I "clean" it. It burns off as you just have to rinse the ashes.

Saw this tip on a Japanese TV station wayyy back when I lived in Japan and it works very well. If you want to do your stove top too just spray with ammonia and cover with cling wrap... works great!

Ok I tried this..after 12 hours,had to cook breakfast, couldn't believe how easy to clean, just rinsed & they looked like new:) the other 2 are still soaking will let them stay full 24 hrs...thanks for the great tip:). One question: can I do the burners the same way?
