Do you just write on the glass?

Did you write on the glass and how did you attach dry erase marker?

@Denise-Yes, you just write on the glass. It comes off with a quick swipe of an eraser. @Sarah-I purchased the dry eraser at Walmart in a pack of 5 or 6 and the eraser is already attached to the end of the marker. The marker fits perfectly in the middle of the frame. If you look closely you can see it.

I did this. You can find the frames at Walmart for $9.99. If you get it at Target its about $20. It also is one picture frame.

For the colorful backings did you use paper? or fabric? Something else?

I used a good quality scrapbook paper. It feels like fabric though.

none of the walmarts around Montana carry it, I would need to order it from Seattle.

you can really put anything dawn. i put tack paper on it. the kind you put on your shelves.i suppose you could use a picture from a card or a picture your kids draw maybe a coloring page.. it depends on what you want to write on it
