You should read "23 Minutes in Hell" It's a short book, and amazing.

Kind of hard to tell stories or sip margaritas while you're screaming from all the pain and torture you'll be in for all of eternity!

If it offends you so much, don't comments! It's a joke, not a serious analysis of someones life.

Monica, Lindsay, Shannon, etc., I apologize for opening a can of worms, but seriously, read the book. When you believe Hell is a real place, jokes about it are as funny as jokes about people sipping margaritas as they burned in the stairwells of the World Trade Center. I'm sorry to dampen your fun, but I'd also be sorry not to say anything and let you laugh your way into a very serious predicament. I know you're just trying to have fun, and I don't mean to ruin it. Just think of what you'd do if you believed as the rest of us do.

It's insulting, at best, to use examples from something so factual and undebatable as WTC to further illustrate your "point" on how tasteless you think others may be concerning matters of 'heaven' and 'hell'. It's tasteless of you to suggest that what you might 'find in a book' (and have never experienced) is comparable to any real and undeniable events in the past. If you want to live your life for what you read will happen in life after death, fine. Go pray for others who don't believe the same as you instead of insisting to them that you're right and they're not- because your "book" says such non-believers already have a 'savior' named for that and I'm certain it's not you.

For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? Mark 8:36

I don't think it's fair to call Mary May and those like her "haters" or be hostile. She was perfectly nice in her post and didn't use mean or snarky language. She just gave you a moment of human concern for others. What's wrong with "thanks but no thanks" if you don't believe as she does? I agree the WTC comment was in poor taste, but nothing was as nasty as the comments people are answering with.

Hell: eternal fire that never shall be quenched, eternal torment, darkness... Doesn't sound like a place I'd want to go... I'd rather walk the streets of gold and partake of milk and honey with Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Matthew 4:17... "...Repent: for the kingdom of Heaven is at hand." Matthew 10:33... "But whosoever shall deny me before men, him will I also deny before my Father which is in Heaven." We don't know when the Rapture will take place, it could be tomorrow, it could be next week, could be in a couple years. No one knows when it'll happen, but why would we chance NOT being ready? Eternal Life or Eternal Death? I choose Eternal Life with Christ. :) I will be praying for all of you. :)

hell: a place of outer darkness where you want the screaming to stop, and then you realize that you are the one who is screaming.

.1 Corth 1:18 For the word of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God
