@Matti Powers - yes it certainly is. This picture is also circulating around pinterest with the caption: "Which woman would you rather be?"

I Like this pic because beauty comes in many, many shapes and sizes!

Stupid question....any woman that would honestly say she'd rather be the heavier woman is not a honest person. I want to be fit and healthy for me and my children.

It's wonderful if you are happy however you are, but the larger woman is most likely very unhealthy. Heart disease, diabetes, blood pressure problems. I'm glad that the "thin" woman is curvy though! Overly thin people are unhealthy too. Vitamin deficiency, muscle erosion, weak bones. Healthy is beautiful IMO.

This picture is absolutely gorgeous, Beauty comes in all sizes, but most importantly, beauty comes from within :)

Ok hate to point out he obvious but the smaller women is healthier without a doubt! Also I don't care what anyone says, obesity is not attractive. She may be a good person, but there are definite health issues here!

Superficially one would most likely answer the smaller woman. The smaller woman could have terminal cancer and a husband that abused her while the heavier woman could be healthy and in a loving and wonderful relationship. I would love to be "fit and healthy" but more than that, I want to be happy and healthy. Just because someone isn't a size 2 doesn't make them unhealthy.

The larger person might be happy and beautiful, but it's pretty much a given that their health is suffering due to obesity. So many diseases and heath issues are linked to being obese - it's just a fact.

Your right you don't have to be a size two to be healthy, but obesity is not healthy! It's about health not size! That larger women is not physically healthy, her weight can be just as unhealthy as cancer.

To try to convince yourself and everyone else that a person that big is beautiful is ignorant and ridiculous. I would never judge someone that's big, EVER! I have a lot of friends that are obese, and I would never say or do anything to make them feel bad about it. But, I would also NEVER condone and support them either. It's almost condescending to tell someone that it's 'ok" or "beautiful" to be fat. When in reality, IT'S NOT! We were not created to be that morbidly obese and unhealthy. Therefore, it shows disrespect to ourselves and to the One who created our beautiful bodies. We should be more willing to cherish our bodies, since it is a gift.. instead of everybody making excuses when we choose to destroy it.

I'm sure the larger lady would like to look like the smaller one! Almost all of us know what it's like when it seems all the sudden we've gained weight and not sure how! I have weight to lose, it's not coming off, but need to remember as long as I'm exercising I'm making myself healthier. Day by day, workout by workout, meal by meal, if you are honestly trying you need to be proud! Point is, we don't try to be overweight, unfortunately it happens, probably for this lady too. Hopefully she can get in a healthy place too. I agree skinny isn't healthy exactly either! We need to support all women where ever they are!

This question has nothing to do with health. Continue to point out how fatness equates to health like you are a god-damned genius why don't you? Some of us do enjoy our fat, our largeness, and it's not your right or anyone else's to tell us what we can or cannot be.

Yikes Matti. No one personally attacked you. But you can read any study ever and it will say that morbid obesity leads to health issues and early death. It's wonderful that you are confident in yourself though. That adds such an amazing type of beauty to a woman that no amount of diet an exercise can.

Ok ladies. I admit that I look more like the bigger of these ladies and let me tell you, if I had the chance to choose, I would choose the thinner body. I have severe cardio myopathy which prevents me from doing any exercise. I would love not to be the fattest person in the room. I would love to shop in the normal size section. I live with my circumstances and I fight every day to stay alive. I consider each day a gift but I would never choose this body for myself or anyone else! It's great to love yourself for who you are but lets be real. We all want to be the pretty girl, not the fat girl with the great personality.
