I've tried this a lot and it always looks great in the back and from the sides but I look dumb from the front haha! Plus I have bangs so that makes it worse. Very easy to do though, you just put an elastic headband (very cheap and are sold at drug stores) over your hair instead of under and tuck sections of your hair around and under it. Secure with bobby pins if need be. I have really thick and wavy hair so I have to battle the headband to stay in place, so the bobby pins really help me out. Takes about 5 minutes and looks great even if it's a little messy.
