I wore my hair like this every day in high school... I never needed a single bobby pin. Just a hair tie. The trick is in just bunching up your hair in your hand and then wrapping the rubber band around it haphazardly.

I really only think it works if you have thin hair. Unless you're super awesome with hair. I don't know how to do it. I've got thick hair. :( but it's cute!
