Speak out! Speak up! Use your voice and dont be shut down by people in the medical community who will "dismiss" you, ignore you, or put you down. you know your body better than anyone else! you are stuck with it 24/7!! THERE IS NO EXCUSE FOR DISMISSING A PATIENT INSTEAD OF SAYING "I DONT KNOW" SO LET THEM KNOW THAT IS WHAT YOU EXPECT! If they dont know then ask for direction on where to turn next. dont let anxiety and stress become another companion for pain and illness. be your own advocate!
